Makeup on top. No pilling.
Both the serum and moisturizer are lightweight. I put on the serum first and then the moisturizer. They absorb fast. I put my makeup on top, no pilling.

Fast absorption is an understatement!
I've had sensitive skin my entire life, even products that claim to be natural or gentle have caused reactions and rashes. So, I was curious if Matter of Monday's product would do the same. I am thrilled to say that they have not only been gentle on my skin, but I've never experienced another products that has absorbed as quickly! I wear limited makeup, typically, because I just don't like the feel of heavy products. The defense duo is so lightweight - I truly love it!
